Swim the Canal 2015 - Fundraiser to save Jerome Pt. Lighthouse

Register now to avoid disappointment as there are over 100 indicating that they are attending on this page. 

Our swim organizing committee just met and agreed that "OUR LIGHTHOUSE MATTERS". Proceeds for this event will go towards a lighthouse maintenance fund. We will soon lose our Lighthouse if it is not declared a Heritage Lighthouse by Parks Canada and subsequently turned over to our community.

SWIM THE CANAL ROUTES
LONG: From the boat launch in the lake to Battery Park beach, with one lock transfer.
MEDIUM: From outside the ocean lock to Battery Park beach.
WIDTH: From the boat launch on the Ocean side of the canal to Battery Park beach.


REGISTRATION:
Registration fee is $15.
You can register at 10199 Grenville St. or at Marsha's Custom Cuts. Out of town participants can register online to [email protected].

REQUIRED REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
- T-shirt size
- Swim Route: Long; Medium; Width
- Long Swim ambition: Fun; Cardio (We will send the long swimmers in two batches so that people arrive in the lock about the same time).
- A signed waiver.

The cost to join this event is $15.00, however if you want to register on the day of the event you may do so at the park side of the canal. The cost for this late registration will be $20.00. All profits will go to the Jerome Lighthouse Project.
