The Celtic Shores Coastal Trail is a 92 kilometer trail that stretches from Port Hastings up to Inverness along the west coast of Cape Breton Island.
The trail runs is designed for multiple uses, such as hiking, biking, and horse-back riding. It can also be used by smaller motorized vehicles like quads and snowmobiles. Along the way, travellers can sample a variety of experiences, including sandy beaches, active fishing harbours, salt-water marshes teeming with wildlife, and a number of venues that feature live music.
Visitors planning extended stays can find restaurants, pubs, and accommodations in communities along the way.
