Thank You to CBRM Maintenance Crews

I live in the Ashby neighborhood in Sydney. Very late Tuesday night (more like 1am Wednesday morning) I noticed that my tap water was discoloured. That’s usually a sign of a water-main break. We had one happen just a few weeks earlier.

It seemed too late to call anyone, plus I didn’t really know who to call.

And, the heavy snowfall had already started with no plows yet on the road.

I figured that we would be without clean water for quite some time.

Early in the morning my wife called CBRM to report and inquire about the problem and left voicemail. Shortly thereafter we received a call back that there was indeed a water-main break and it was already repaired.

Wow, now that was a pleasant surprise.  An overnight repair in the middle of a heavy snowfall.  Time to give credit where credit is due.

Thank you to the CBRM maintenance crews!

That's a random photo above, not the actual repair in Sydney :-)

Agree, they definitely do a great job bringing water back quickly. The several times we've been impacted, it's been restored very fast. We also live in Ashby.
