Just a general note, for the young and active types especially, if you are going to carry around an $800 device in your pocket, spend a bit extra for a quality case and screen protector. It won't make the phone bullet proof, but it can save you down the road, and as a bonus it will help maintain resale price when you upgrade. Just a small note for John if you ever go the hackintosh route, I've found the least painful approach is to use a seperate SSD for each OS install if you plan to dual boot.
