The Community Homeless Shelter is located on 32 Margaret Street, within walking distance of downtown Sydney. We are committed to providing safe emergency accommodations for men experiencing homelessness in a manner that respects their diverse experiences and needs.

Clients are provided with a bed for the night, hot meals, shower and laundry facilities, in-house support services, counseling, referral services, clothing, personal care items and safe storage of their medication and other valuables. We accept referrals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and remain open during extreme weather conditions. We also have a referral service for females requiring emergency shelter.

People experiencing homelessness have few resources and the Community Homeless Shelter is often their final option to receive the basic necessities of human life.
