Cape Breton Regional Police advise motorists of a change to posted traffic signage where Quarry Road intersects with Seaview Street and Dawe Avenue.

A new Yield Sign will be installed for traffic traveling West on Seaview Street, and a new Stop Sign will be installed for traffic traveling East on Quarry Road. The existing two Stop Signs at the intersection will remain in place. (See above photo for reference).

CBRM Public Works crews will install the new signage and motorists can expect some traffic delays in this area while work is being completed.

Please pay extra attention driving in this area where the new signage will indicate motorists in THREE directions must now make a full stop when approaching this intersection, while motorists approaching from Seaview Street will Yield.
