Undercurrent exists to provide children and youth with opportunities for recreation, mentorship, safe, and a positive environment. We are one of Cape Breton’s main addiction prevention centres for youth. Our goal is to introduce youth to positive experiences and activities while building self esteem and the ability to make positive choices.
We are currently expanding our centres in Sydney and New Waterford and have a goal to have one thousand children and youth in programs on a weekly basis by 2020.
