Viral sensations like Rob Calabrese's "Trump Bump" and the Farmer's Daughter "Free land" campaign are helping to spread the word about Cape Breton to other parts of the world in a big way. This week, a United States-based blogger included Cape Breton in her list of the top 10 places in the world to buy a vacation home. Ranking the island 9th, here's how she described it:
"This area of the world is much colder than the others, but it makes up for that in history and style. Houses on Cape Breton aren't all that expensive, and the breathtaking scenery when the leaves change is not to be missed."
