Here it is early March and not a clamper to be found off our coast - not even on the beaches in Cape Breton. This may herald a very rare event for our region - a real Spring!
The March 2 ice chart from Environment Canada shows ice on the western Gulf of St. Lawrence shores only. Does anyone know if this has ever happened as early as this in the past?
