‘They are taking food out of the mouths of families in need’

GLACE BAY — There was something new growing around the community garden at the Glace Bay Food Bank Tuesday.

Anger.

Patricia Hurley, one of the food bank’s co-ordinators, said on Tuesday they discovered that someone had heartlessly dumped some type of a furnace or motor oil over a significant portion of the community garden.
