The Old Farmer’s Almanac is predicting more snow and wintery conditions for the Atlantic region this winter. This is bringing hope to local tourism operators.
However, Environment Canada has projected a larger than normal el Nino event on the west coast which will result in warmer temperatures across Canada. As a result, the agency is predicting the Maritimes will experience slightly warmer weather and winter storms that feature mixed precipitation - snow and rain.
Either way, be sure to get your boots and shovels ready!
