A couple of days ago, Jillian Briggs made a failed cliff jump attempt at the Gypsum Mine Lake in Cheticamp after a moment of hesitation. She says she has done so for years without being injured, but now cautions others to no longer jump off the cliff, for fear they may be injured or killed. 

She suffered a bone-deep cut to her eyebrow and a concussion and had to be taken for emergency care by ambulance. She says her friends saw it happen and believed she was going to die from the fall.

After posting her story to Facebook, it has gone viral.
