This summer I was able to enjoy the Highlands and the Cabot trail many times. While in the area I stopped at the Wreck Cove General Store and I have to say it is one of my favour Little spots on the trail. Not only is inside the store cool with things you would only see in a store in Cape Breton but the people are pretty amazing. Not only are they friendly they know who the people that use the store daily are, they take the time to talk to people even when they are pretty busy. They will even bbq you food while you wait they talk to you . If anyone has a chance to check them out I would say do it .after all where else would you get a handful of lobster sandwiches
