Joe Hollywood’s Gourmet Take-Away opened on June 1

SYDNEY — At 20 years of age Dillan MacNeil says he’s an old soul.

He has incorporated the use of decades-old record albums, magazine clippings and photos from pop culture icons to transform a former Whitney Pier pizzeria into a burger joint.

Along with business partner, Nick Paruch, the small takeout place called Joe Hollywood’s Gourmet Take-Away opened on June 1.

One of the business sectors that seem to be a little more creative locally are the new food businesses, whether it's a food truck or a new restaurant. It's nice to see that foodie entrepreneurs are having some fun with their new concepts. I hope this trend continues.
