Sydney Mines olympian Aimee Gordon has done it again. Aimee is a speed skater participating at the 2017 Special Olympics World Games in Austria.

She won GOLD in the 500m speed skating race yesterday, March 23rd. This morning her coach announced that Aimee has medalled again, picking up a BRONZE in the 333m race.

Aimee will be arriving back in Cape Breton at the Sydney Airport on Sunday, for a scheduled 2:30pm arrival. Not only is Aimee Gordon our first Cape Breton Special Olympian to compete at the world level, she's also a double medal winner. She makes all of Cape Breton very proud. Congratulations Aimee and Coach Cyril.
