People all over CBRM are supporting the food truck frenzy which has hit North America. Some may think food trucks are a new craze but I have fond childhood memories of piling into the box of my uncle's pickup and heading into Fuzzy's for some fries. Truck, cart, bus, or bike, food trucks come in many shapes and sizes but have a few things in common; they have wheels, they greet their patrons with a smile, and they can be a little more adventurous with their food offerings than a stationary restaurant.
Just this weekend, CBRM gathered a gaggle of the local trucks for their 2nd annual "Food Truck Rally". It was amazing. And, if it wasn't enough for you or you tried something you loved and have no idea where to normally find it, I have compiled a map of CBRM food trucks*.
No need to be particular... TRY THEM ALL!

If you gotta be particular...
Bacon Bus: French Toast Grill Cheese with Bacon
Picture a grill cheese made with french toast slices and stick some bacon in the middle. An amazing breakfast on the go, able to eat while driving (take care while dipping in the syrup).
Little Rollin Bistro: Fish Taco
A refreshingly tasty taco filled with locally sourced haddock and pineapple salsa.
Street Beast: Deep Fried Mars Bars
Take a mars bar, wrap it in pastry, deep fry it, top it with caramel and powdered sugar, and stuff it in your face. Make sure you leave your conscience at home.
Bee's Knees: Chicken Sliders
Not your average sliders. Chicken, spicy "Bee Sting Sauce", bacon, and havarti cheese. Make sure you order it with Bee's Knees' unique seasoned fries.
SISTA'S Sausage & Hot Dog Cart: Horyl's Sausage
Nothing beats Cape Breton's own Horyl's sausage, grilled straight at the cart, and topped with your favourites.
Fuzzy's Fries: Hot Dog
As much as I love a BBQ hot dog, there is something amazingly fresh about Fuzzy's steamed hot dogs, topped with just mustard and relish (don't ask for ketchup).
Mountain Fries: Poutine
Perfect late night stop for a poutine. They even have a veggie option for those who have made that choice (not that there is anything wrong with that).
Add your food truck...
Add your food truck to the "CBRM Food Truck Roundup Map" or submit details at http://bit.ly/cbrmFoodTrucks.
*I threw in a few Victoria County trucks because people specifically mentioned them.
